As most of you are probably very aware, Ruby on Rails (RoR) is the near-mythic web application development framework. In the 3 years since its introduction, it has taken the Internet development community by storm.

The other day on the RI Nexus discussion forums, I came across a post by Josh Catone. I knew of Josh through his excellent reportage as Lead Author of the influential Read/WriteWeb. So as you can imagine, I was excited to learn that he's South Kingston-based.

Better still, Josh is co-founder of Railsify, the web's leading network of Rails-related sites.

This all has gotten me thinking about the state of Rails in our fair state. Off the top of my head (it's early Monday morning so that's really not saying much), here are some RI Rails startups:
