The RI Nexus Forums have spawned two more informal get-togethers:

• The First Rhode Island Open Coffee - Open Coffee is an international model where folks interested in startups meet in a casual atmosphere to discuss. RI's first Open Cofee is schedule for this Wedesday the 9th at 8am. Allan Tear is organizing. Details here.
• OLPC XO Meetup - Now that the first "$100 laptops" have hit the streets (and schools), the proud owners are looking to share their enthusiasm for the little marvels and more importantly to try out the mesh networking capabilities that allow them to "talk" to one another. All are welcome - owners and non-owners. This is the perfect opportunity to become familiar with one of the world's great gadgets. The meetup is scheduled for Wed. the 15th at 4:30pm.
