We've set the date for the next Providence Drupal Meetup. It'll be on Tuesday, November 23rd at 6:00pm at McFadden’s Restaurant & Saloon. We’ll be in their private room; food and drinks will be served. Parking is free on and off street (starts at 5 pm).

Doors open at 6 pm; we ask that you try to arrive by 6:30 pm for networking. The program starts promptly at 7 pm. The program includes introductions, a presentation, and a chance to pick the brains of your fellow attendees.

We'll be talking about the Feeds module (and a few helpers) and looking at how it can be used to do things like transfer content from your old site, syndicate content from other sites to yours, import users and even automatically import your photos from Flickr. Unlike the Aggregation module in core, this lets you import everything as their own nodes, giving you all the flexibility of views integration and more.
