The first workshop, “Reclaiming the Future Through American Manufacturing,” features Giovanni Feroce, CEO of Alex and Ani Inc., and will take place from 10:15 to 11 a.m.

A question-and-answer session on the state fire code will follow State Fire Marshal John Chartier’s presentation from 11 a.m. to noon, “State Fire Code from A to Z.”

From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., the Secretary of State’s Business Services Division, the state Division of Taxation, the Internal Revenue Service and several local attorneys and certified public accountants will offer “Laying the Foundation for a Successful Small Business” for those who have questions about formation filings, patents, trademarks, tax documentation and federal identification numbers.

Finally, Audrey McClelland of Mom Generations will talk about making social media work for your business from 2 to 3 p.m.
