Dec. 7 is the date for this year's Elevator Pitch Contest in which participants will present their business ideas in 90 seconds and receive immediate feedback from top, business-building experts --plus a chance to win some of the $1,000 in cash prizes to be awarded.

The Contest -- open to all -- gets underway at 5 pm at the RI Center For Innovation & Entrepreneurship, One Davol Sq., Providence, and will wrap up at 7 pm when the winners are announced.
