The University of Rhode Island has one of the first, and the best digital forensics programs in the country. Students can major in things like Computer Science, Criminal Justice, or Accounting, and minor in Digital Forensics to learn to perform investigations that involve digital evidence such as emails, IM, and files and deleted files from seized harddrives.
