Rhode Island Nexus

This session will provide entrepreneurs with information regarding resources available to them from the Small Business Development Center. The RISBDC promotes entrepreneurship and strengthens small business in Rhode Island by both providing broad-based and high-quality, "no cost" consulting and low-cost educational courses and services.

...The workshop will be presented by Virginia Thimas, of the SBA and Ardena Lee Fleming of the Rhode Island Small Business Development Center. The topics to be covered include attracting and retaining customers, product and service targeting, pricing, advertising and promotion, competition, distribution and sales. Information about the many free programs and services available from the Small Business Administration will also be outlined. Workshop participants will be given a tour of the Business Information Center and a demonstration of the technology available at the center. Seating is limited, so pre-registration is recommended.
