OSHEAN - Email Archiving Informational Meeting
Recently some of our members have brought to our attention their need for new or upgraded email archiving systems and asked us to begin to look at ways in which OSHEAN might be able to help with this important and growing need.
To that end, we have scheduled a meeting where a representative from our member, Care New England, will present his research findings on the subject. We thank Care New England their willingness to share this valuable information.
There are three types of email archiving solutions currently available: software, appliance and ASP model. Each option has its pros and cons which we will learn more about during the meeting. Care New England has not only performed the research but has also looked at what vendors provide these solutions and what each particular vendor solution provides and at what cost.
Once the presentation is complete, we will have time for a discussion of the solutions, best practices and any questions you might have over lunch.
