This economic conference has been set up to provide a unique opportunity for the business community to have a dialogue with our elected leadership.  Over these past two years, the conference met with elected leaders and devised an agenda that would help small business community.  This year provides a more unique opportunity to have a discussion with our elected leadership, particularly in light of the current state fiscal crisis.  Nearly 80 small business owners have signed up for the 2009 Rhode Island Economic Summit, which will again be held at the Johnson & Wales University Culinary Museum.  I would strongly suggest that you respond to this request immediately as we are limited to 150 participants.
