In this Virtualization session, we will take a look at the many new virtualization features that are built into Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2.  We will have a quick look at compatibility provided by the virtualization platform of Windows Virtual PC and XP Mode.  We will take a look at Boot to VHD, which is a way to have a multi-boot environment setup so you can dual boot to Windows 7 by adding a VHD to your system and installing Windows on that very nice and neat VHD package. We will also take a sneak peak at the Server 2008 R2 virtualization stack changes. These changes include a new Hyper-V role, Remote Desktop Services (RDS ; formerly TS) and Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI).

Cost:

Members $5.00
Non-members $15.00
