The Grand Daddy of them all! Student teams compete for $50,000 in cash prizes and in-kind services. Two rounds of judging are held. For the first round, we send the business plans to judges around the country. Multiple judges will evaluate each business plan. The top five (5) teams will be selected to present their ventures publicly at Brown University on the day of the competition. A panel of judges will award a total of $50,000 to the three (3) ventures deemed most promising. The venture deemed having the most potential will be awarded a total grant of $25,000 in cash and professional services. The two runners-up will receive total grants of $12,500 each in cash and professional services. The three winning teams will also be able to send their business plans to the 2nd Annual DFJ East Coast Challenge, where $250,000 will be awarded!
