Introduction to LEGO Robotics for 5-7 year olds

"In this overview of LEGO Robotics for early learners, we'll take a hands-on approach to learning about robots and how they work. We'll be using the LEGO RCX robotics kit which contain electronic parts as well as LEGO elements familiar to this age group: bricks, plates and mini-figures. This class will include design and building lessons that focus on simple machines and innovative solutions. We'll do a little bit of programming to make our creations move. Participants do not need to be able to read to participate, all I ask is that they be interested in LEGO and willing to try new ideas. Enrollment is limited so that each participant can design and build his or her own projects. (Please note: students do not get to keep their creations.)"

Fee: $125 (includes admission to the Museum for participant, parent, and siblings.)
