The Entrepreneur's Changing Role
In moving from a start-up to a more mature, self-sufficient company, the founder/entrepreneur role often evolves from doing all the work, to teaching others to do the work, to prescribing the desired results, to managing the overall context in which the work is done. The move is akin to going from a quarterback to a coach. In this Forum, we'll explore the specific experiences of four founders/entrepreneurs whose skill sets and roles changed over time as their companies grew and evolved. We'll also learn what these entrepreneurs are doing to survive and thrive in the current economic downturn.
