The April morning meetup was another successful one, with over a dozen members getting together and talking about their businesses and exchanging good tips and information. Fortunately, we managed to get through the topic of social networking, with lots of great info from members who actively social network.

Inbound marketing is the art/science of getting your customers to come to you and your website. It has several components, one of which is social networking, while another is SEO, search engine optimization. While many people have been successful with AdWords on Google, and using Overture (Yahoo) along with other click-thru types of marketing, that market has become incredibly saturated. That's why many entrepreneurs are turning to SEO to improve their website rankings, and thus, visitor counts.

We'll discuss some of the basics of making a website search engine-friendly, and talk about the weight of different factors in ranking a website.
