What is TWITTER?

Twitter is a free social networking and micro-blogging service that has changed the way many people communicate. Twitter allows users to send “TWEETS” (posts that are up to 140 characters long) to the Twitter website via short message service (SMS - typically on cell phones), instant messaging, from their computer, or through a third-party application.

This workshop will teach you what Twitter is, how to use it and how to do business through it.

All of these workshops will take place at New Horizons Computer Learning Center located inside the same building at RIEDC. Computers for attendees will be provided.
