As part of the MEME Visiting Artist Series 2010, Victor Gama presents “Taking Stock: The Challenges and Opportunities of Interactive Technology in Performance and Installation.” Born in Angola and currently based in Sintra, Portugal, Gama is a composer, performer, designer of innovative musical instruments and an electronics engineer. His work explores new acoustic territories by incorporating the act of designing musical instruments into the composition process.
