Robotic design and development for a variety of fields including medical, military, and industrial
Cardiorobotics is developing advanced robotic technologies for use in a wide range of applications, including: medical, industrial, military, and law enforcement. The Company's highly articulated robotic probes have unlimited degrees of freedom, are teleoperated, and are able to steer a self-supported, non-linear path.
The Company is in its pre-clinical stage and expects to begin human clinical trials in 2009.
Started by University of Pittsburgh and Carnegie Mellon University scientists and engineers, Cardiorobotics moved to Middletown in early 2007 and recently received a $500,000 investment from the Slater Fund.
