Submitted on September 2nd, 2008 - 3:44pm linkI plan on it. I'm interested in a few features, specifically the ability to launch a tab as its own "app" without nav, etc.

Submitted on September 2nd, 2008 - 4:02pm linkI will be. I read the "comic" on it earlier today.
Seems to be the real deal. I'm especially excited about each tab being treated as it's own system process.
It's available for download now:

I can already see the benefits of separate processes for each tab/win. One thing that's bugging me is that when you begin to type an address in the location bar and you see the location recommendation right below where you're typing, you can't just hit tab to auto-complete. Firefox will do that for you. I think they need to take the same path there.

I hope Google gets the Mac version out in the next few months. But even if they do, I can't see myself switching to it on my work machine. I'm too locked into Firefox's Web Developer Toolbar's secret sauce. Here's hoping for a Chrome equivalent once the extensions API goes live.
