We (DandyID) launched a developer contest recently to encourage innovative uses of our API (details: http://dandyid.org/beta/apicontest"). Prizes are a 27" flat screen monitor, Flip recorder, Kindle 2, and legos (woot).

For those not familiar with our service, DandyID offers management and portability of users' online identities - where they exist online, their profile, and contacts. Our API allows this information to be pulled (and pushed, for white-label API users) - one such example of use is our WordPress plug-in (built by a third-party developer Neil Simon) - http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/dandyid-services/.

If you're a developer, please sign up and get an API key (it's free) and submit an app! Contact us for any questions or feedback. If you aren't a developer, but have ideas for use of our service/API, let us know - or leave a comment on this thread.
