Google Maps Street View in Providence
Posted on January 2nd, 2008, by Matt Gillooly
I can't decide whether this is just awesome, or if we should feel a little violated... either way, like it or not...
Google Maps Street View is now live for Providence
Did anyone see the camera vans when they were crawling the city?
Has anyone found any interesting activity in the footage?

Matt, I didn't see any of Google's camera vans, but I did see one of MSN's a year or two ago. It was a cross between a SUV and an attack helicopter - tons of equipment including a giant fish eye lens, I could easily believe that all in it was a $200k+ rig.
