Hello Providence Geeks:

CitizenSpeak.org is a free email advocacy service for grassroots organizations. Some of you might remember it from a presentation I made at Geeks many moons ago.

Since then, CitizenSpeak has supported thousands of citizen campaigns across the country - including many in RI - like helping to save Nathan Bishop.

CitizenSpeak now desperately needs a massive overhaul, specifically from Drupal 4 to Drupal 6.

This job will entail upgrading the Drupal modules:  DBA and CitizenSpeak - both of which are free and open source.

In addition to being a good cause, CitizenSpeak offers an opportunity to link your work to a site that has garnered significant exposure.

CitizenSpeak won the $10,000 Pizzigati Award as the best open source software in the public space. It made it on to a Wall Street Journal list of the best software for social change. It also won a Webby Honoree award.
