A fast growing Internet software company in the College Financial Aid Space is seeking an experienced PHP developer to complete a robust administrative dashboard that will allow for the efficient delivery and management of the financial aid services offered by the company to its end users and that will provide a number of detailed, rich, reporting features designed to support both administration and marketing functions.  Additional work on the site will be required to effectuate a seamless implementation of the existing site into this new administrative dashboard.  The need for work on this project is immediate and fixed.  However, several post-launch development projects are in the design phase and the company is very interested in entertaining longer-term project oriented work with the right developer.

Specifically, the company is looking for an individual who:

  -         Has experience in designing, developing, and supporting robust, extensible, data-base driven web applications using PHP.

-           Strong PHP skills in both object-oriented and procedural programming.

-           Proficiency in SQL required with an understanding of relational database schema design and practice.

-           Other technical skills: HTML, Javascript, CSS, XML, and Apache web server (basic configuration knowledge).

-           Looking to work in an open collaborative environment a must.

-           Ability to begin work immediately and devote a significant portion of time to this project.
