Seeking an intern to work on Large Model Visualization performance studies and enhancements.

The primary task would be to work closely with the Visualization team to build a comprehensive set of performance test scenarios that would cover multiple configurations of our visualization solution (local and remote visualization). By running these test scenarios, performing a deep analysis of their results, and reporting those to the development team, the intern would provide solid inputs on possible areas of performance improvements. The intern may also have the opportunity to implement some of the identified performance improvements and automate the performance testing. An exciting opportunity for the intern to run through a wide variety of technologies related to the domain of parallel and remote visualization of large models for realistic simulation.

Seeking an undergraduate student with a background in Graphics, Physical Science or Mechanical and experience with C++, Object Oriented Programming, scripting.
