Our fast-paced marketing team at SIMULIA, the Dassault Systèmes brand responsible for providing engineering simulation technology to our global customers, is seeking a motivated, enthusiastic, and quality-conscious graphic design intern to join our Marketing Communications team.  Candidates should be capable of delivering high-quality presentations, collateral and offer creative ideas. Our marketing programs target mechanical engineers at leading manufacturing companies such as; adidas, Boeing, BMW, Procter & Gamble, Toyota, and more. Work schedule during the school year is estimated to be 25 hours per week during business hours of 8 am – 5 pm Monday – Friday. We strongly prefer an intern who is able to continue working with us during the summer months.

Job Description:

•         Support  visual design and communications for the SIMULIA brand.

•         Convert existing PowerPoint presentations to new brand template (50%).

•         Support design of graphic elements for documentation and collateral (30%).

•         Support creation web banner ads, flash animations (20%).

·         Ensure all design work meets corporate identity guidelines.

·         Work under direct supervision of the Lead Designer.

Requirements/Qualifications:

•         Advanced skills in using Microsoft PowerPoint.

•         Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, Indesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Fireworks, Flash, Final Cut, HTML.

•         Pursing degree in Graphic Design, media technology, or business communications.

•         Attention to detail and ability to take initiative and work creatively are vital.

·         Good communication and interpersonal skills, detail oriented.

·         Must be team player yet able to work independently (manage own work effectively, show initiative, able to focus and prioritize).

Candidates must be currently enrolled as a full-time student.
