CIBER Providence is offering an unpaid internship program to a college student interested in gaining experience and developing an understanding and appreciation of business development and basic office administration functions of an international systems integration organization.
The ideal candidate has excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills and is effective working independently or in a team environment. We are seeking a reliable, dedicated intern wishing to gain valuable knowledge about the business development profession as well as a greater understanding of the demands and expectations of the Information Technology business and industry. We will provide you with insight into the practical aspects of CIBER’s organization and operation through participation and hands-on experience in day-to-day activities.
Responsibilities include:
- Working side by side with an experienced business development executive, helping to identify sales leads and providing support through data analysis and research on clients in the industry.
- Compiling marketing information, processing and organizing local and national marketing campaigns.
- Supporting office administrator with the day to day functions of answering phones, maintaining office supplies, mail distribution, preparing fed-ex packages, filing and data entry.
- Conducting miscellaneous projects that will help CIBER’s Providence internal office staff as well as our consultants in the field.
Requirements:
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- Outstanding communication skills (written and verbal)
- Expert MS Excel skills
- Advanced internet research skills
- Prior office experience a plus
