Our fast-paced marketing team at SIMULIA, a global leader in providing engineering simulation technology, is seeking a motivated, enthusiastic, and quality-conscious Web Design Intern.

Duties include:

·         Supports the updating of the company`s public website and internal portals.

·         Implements and maintains web-based forms for various departments within the company.

·         Troubleshoots issues with existing or developed web systems and works with the appropriate resources to resolve them.

·         Uses graphic design technology, web authoring software, photos, animations, and other artistic media.

·         Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

·         Ensures all web design work meets corporate identity guidelines.

·         Works under direct supervision of the Lead Web Developer.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Good communication and interpersonal skills, detail oriented. Working knowledge of Windows environment (Unix and/or Linux a plus). Must have a working knowledge of HTML and JavaScript (XML, CGI, Perl, SQL, and Web Services a plus). Experience with various software applications, particularly web design, graphic design, word processing, and file transfer packages.

Strong skills in time management, organization, and problem solving.

Must be team player yet able to work independently (manage own work effectively, show initiative, able to focus and prioritize).
