The Web Development Intern will manage and maintain existing database driven web applications as well as developing new cutting edge applications according to company priorities. Solicit information from internal clients and develop project plans and technical documentation.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTION(S):
* Updating and maintaining existing database-driven intranet, extranet and corporate internet web sites.

OTHER FUNCTION(S):
* Resolving site and application bugs - effectively locating, replicating, and correcting site and application bugs.
* Development of new web-based solutions using tools and technologies such as ASP.NET, VB.NET, C# .NET, ColdFusion and MS SQL 2000.
* Writing user and technical documentation - clearly documenting functional and design specifications using industry standards such as UML.

EDUCATION—MINIMUM REQUIRED LEVEL:
Juniors within a BS program in one of the following areas: Computer Science, MIS, Graphic Designs, and Internet Commerce

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
* Hands-on experience with CFML, ASP.NET, VB.NET and/or C# .NET - or similar internet technologies
* Hands-on experience with MS SQL 2000 or similar database technologies
* Experienced using CSS, DHTML, JavaScript
* Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Must be team player, able to work independently (manage own work effectively, show initiative, able to focus and prioritize) but seek assistance readily when needed.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS — DESIRED BUT NOT ESSENTIAL:
* Knowledge in Ajax, UML, XML, Java, OOP concepts, Flex, or Web Services a plus
* Experience in analysis, design, and development of web-based applications.
