Description
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Teach daytime computer courses with possibility of travel to multi-campuses as assigned.
- Work with students in an electronic classroom to complete assigned material.
- Contribute to the development of curricula to keep pace with emerging trends in industry.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master's degree required, preferably in a computer-related field.
- Experience teaching related courses required, preferably at a community college.
- Knowledge of traditional and object-oriented programming, including scripting languages and the .NET environment desirable.
- Familiarity with application development in a web-based environment.
- Relevant business or industry experience adds greatly to a candidate’s attractiveness.
- Ability and willingness to learn new computer languages and technologies quickly.
- Familiarity with instructional technology such as WEBCT or Blackboard.
