QUALIFICATIONS/JOB DESCRIPTION: 

The News Department of WPRI 12 & FOX Providence is looking for an energetic, self-motivated person to fill this position.  We are a fast-paced station that thrives on breaking news.  To work here, you must possess good writing skills, get the facts right and have the ability to work well under pressure.  You will write copy, make beat checks, operate the teleprompter, update and write for the station websites and assist the producers and our internet department in other duties.  This is an excellent opportunity for someone to break into television news.  Previous experience is a plus. Valid driver’s license required and you must be available to work early mornings and weekends.
