Description
The primary role of the Internal Systems Manager is to provide effective management, coordination and support for all internal systems. These activities include support and maintenance for the organization’s install base of all servers/workstations; installation, maintenance of Voice/Data communications systems; and the management of network and internet/security systems. In this role, the Internal Systems Manager will combine their technical aptitude with their ability to multitask and effectively communicate, coordinate and provide support for all Newport Harbor Corporation Systems as well Project Management and Team Leadership on all IS projects

As Internal Systems is vital to the all company operations, the Internal Systems Manager will work closely with the business units to coordinate effective support for the organization, as well as proactively provide recommendations for new/enhanced systems design, and be responsible for managing the implementation of new and upgraded hardware and software for Internal Systems.

This position requires a hands-on, highly motivated individual with excellent communication and organizational skills, with a strong background in Microsoft Administration, middleware, infrastructure, network design, security and data center activities.

Job Responsibilities and General Duties:

· Provide supervisory responsibility for all IS personnel

· Coordinate, support and maintenance of all Internal Systems including back office workstations and POS systems

· Microsoft Exchange & Active Directory Administration

· Coordinate End User support as required

· Manage Infrastructure configuration setup / testing / administration

· Manage network analysis, support and monitoring

· Work with vendors on 3rd party issues

· Provide Team leadership and Project Management on IS projects

· Corporate Systems Design / Recommendations

· Review Training material and requirements

· Capital Equipment Management - internal use

· SW usage and license tracking

· Budget development and management

Education / Required Skills:

· BS or equivalent in MIS, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent

· Training in Data Center Operations

· Training and experience in Project Management

· 3-5 Years experience in a senior or leadership position in IS Support

· 3-5 Years experience in Microsoft Exchange & AD Administration

· 3-5 Years Data Center Management/Administration

· Strong organizational, administrative and Project management Skills

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Experience in Telephony a Plus.

· Experience in SQL Server management a Plus

· Experience in Aloha POS systems a Plus

· Fully versed in network, architecture and architectural concepts of the internet, middleware, infrastructure, network, security and data center activities; including a strong background in supporting systems in a Windows Client/Server environment

· Background in Internal Systems Management and providing technical support for internal or external customers

· Exhibited troubleshooting and problem solving skills.

· Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. Ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users.
