Description

The manager, interactive/technology assists our Interactive group coordinating the best of design, technology branding and marketing to create compelling websites and interactive tools that are useful, usable and deliver results. The primary functions of this position include managing, facilitating and tracking various activities within and across web/interactive projects. The manager, interactive/technology position requires strong interpersonal and listening skills; strong presentation skills; multiple project and workload management; effective and persuasive written and oral communications skills.

A person in this role must understand how web design and development teams interact and the methods by which they develop their solutions. This requires that the individual thinks creatively and redefines problems based on the discovery of new information. The work environment is fast-paced and team-based.

Reports to: director, interactive/technology

Responsibilities Include:

  • Assists with day-to-day project management of interactive projects
  • Builds and maintains an integrated plan for multiple projects with milestones/checkpoints and adjusts schedules to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget and exceed expectations.
  • Documents and tracks requests for changes to scope.
  • Communicates project status (including risks and issues) to project leadership and stakeholder groups and coordinates work tasks across disciplines within (add)ventures and with external partners.
  • Prepares reports and documents for client meetings, including SOLVEsessions.
  • Take initiative to build and develop leadership and interactive skills.

Job Requirements:

  • 2+ years of relevant work experience in technology, development, or information architecture is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Project management experience, preferably in a client-service organization.
  • Demonstrated teamwork capability and/or leadership potential (prior leadership experience with teams of 3 or more people preferred).
  • Keen sense of entrepreneurship.
  • An appreciation for branding, good interface design and usability.
