We are a small, local team working for a large national company developing award-winning online services for the State of Rhode Island. Our only client is RI, and we work very closely with state and municipal agencies. We are currently seeking a dynamic Project Manager to compliment our team in Providence. This position will oversee a variety of Web/e-commerce applications and services as they move from client concept to launch. Responsibilities will also include the marketing of these services as well as improvements and changes to existing services. The successful candidate will be the right fit for our tight team of highly versatile and talented developers and designers. While the best-qualified candidates will have real world project management skills, we are open to a developing bright self-starter who ‘gets it’. Strong communication and writing skills are a must. Familiarity with Web applications and some basic Internet technology is desired; a strong work ethic, patience and dedication to success is expected.

Responsibilities:
• Project Management of complex Internet and e-commerce products and services
• Extensive direct interaction with State IT and agency staff
• Create proposals based on scope of work
• Establish project milestones and timelines
• Execute Project Management methodology
• Attend weekly project meetings to disseminate project status information
• Work closely with development, creative services and marketing personnel
• Develop strategies to increase interactive sales
• Work within strategic marketing plan and company business plan
• Assist with customer service support for State agencies and online service users

Requirements:
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent work in Project Management
• One year job related experience preferred
• Excellent customer service skills, including good verbal and written abilities
• Strong leadership, organizational, prioritization and interpersonal skills, combined with effective presentation skills
• Self-motivated
• Ability and desire to thrive in a high-pressure, client-services entrepreneurial environment
• Willing to relocate, as opportunities may exist in multiple states
