The Search Agency - Quality Assurance Manager

The Quality Assurance Manager will lead the QA team in developing and executing test plans for new features added to our AdMax Online Marketing Platform.  This platform is used by our account managers to manage client search engine marketing campaigns and search engine optimization efforts.   The environment is both exciting and challenging and requires excellent multitasking ability and the ability to juggle multiple high priorities.

Examples of Responsibilities:
• Organize test plans and schedules
• Coordinate work amongst the QA team – both in the U.S. and abroad.
• Work with the Engineering team to influence projects and resolve product issues
• Champion process improvement including automated regression testing
• Contribute to maintaining both internal and external documentation when necessary
• Review and supplement test plans with additional tests based on defects as well as analysis of code and test coverage
• Manually execute tests in various web browsers for our proprietary web application
• Use SOAPUI to test applications at the web service level
• Use SQL and various query tools to examine data to verify expected results

Requirements:
• Great organizational and team management skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Experience testing data driven web applications both manually and using scripting languages or automated tools. Familiarity with SOAPUI a plus
• Proficient in QA automation concepts
• Familiarity with MySQL, SQL, and database schemas
• Knowledge of Linux, Apache, and web services
• Strong data analysis skills
• Familiarity with search engine marketing, web analytics concepts, or search engine optimization techniques a strong plus.
• Scripting experience in PERL or similar language is a plus.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or similar experience
