Job description: Senior Software Engineer – Client side Skills: Linux, Windows, C++, GTK As a Senior Software Engineer at GyPSii you will support our clients by developing cutting edge mobile and wireless device software. To be successful in this role the following characteristics of your work should include: understanding requirements, communication to the team and clients, strong design, planning, choosing the right tools for the job, high code standards for your work and others around you, hold to code standards, test and refine your own code (unit test), delivery of high quality work, document, and eagerness to maintain and improve. General Qualifications:
- Ability to work independently on diverse problems
- Team orientated and easy to work with
- Strong coding samples
- Superior analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- A passion to work with the best and brightest toward a common goal
Requirements:
- Passion for software and delivery of flawless code
- Excellent coding skills - C++ and/or C
- Experience creating user interfaces and knowledge of GUI toolkit GTK
- Developing and testing real-time software for Linux and/or Windows
- Five or more years of software architecture and development experience
- Participating in the design process and documentation of the software architecture
- Deep experience designing plugin-extensible, multi-threaded, object-oriented software
- BS or MS a plus
