This organization is looking for a seasoned services professional with banking industry experience capable of running our services and delivery business.  It is critical that this person is very entrepreneurial with great customer skills.  The individual best suited for this position will be able to take on a variety of responsibilities at times and enjoy it.  Very strong project management acumen is critical as well as low level C#, .NET and DBA skills is essential.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

This position is responsible for performance in all areas related to provision of technical and business solutions to clients. This includes all aspects of successful engagement management. The customer base consists of financial businesses employing diverse information management environments. The true measure of the success of this position is customer satisfaction and follow-on loyalty.

TECHNICAL

·         Provide low level programming as required.

·         Provide process, data and object modeling in a variety of application and database environments.

·         Provide general database design, development, and enhancement, as well as management and coordination of changes to existing applications.

·         Provide low level technical architecture analysis, design, development, and enhancement.

·         Maintain expertise and currency in industry leading information management and financial business technologies.

PROJECTS

·         Serve as Project Lead or Project Manager via management of end to end system life cycle development of major projects.

·         Oversee minor projects being lead by intermediate level staff under your supervision.

·         Develop costing proposals for projects, perform risk analysis, and manage change control.

·         Provide business analysis, business area assessment, user needs analysis and business systems design for major projects.

·         Conduct comprehensive cost/benefit analysis and prepare business cases for projects.

BUSINESS

·         Present a professional image in conduct, attitude and attire.

·         Provide expertise to clients both in the delivery of completed projects and in the implementation of improved operational methods to meet the customer's business requirements.

·         Serve as client representative to one or more of the company’s major client accounts, and function as project lead during all major projects for that account.

·         Assist with development of client information management standards and evaluation of technology trends, with a focus to enhancing the operational effectiveness of the client’s business.

·         Contribute to the preparation of responses to service requisitions, specifications and contracts.

·         Contribute to the further development of internal corporate business practices, strategic plans and marketing strategies.

SUPERVISORY

·         Supervise and mentor all intermediate and junior level staff assigned as members of your project team

·         Supervise during project life cycle any intermediate or junior level client staff, or any sub-contracted personnel assigned to your project team.

·         Supervise and mentor all intermediate and junior level staff working on other projects under your area of responsibility.

·         Assist in employee review and assessment processes.

QUALIFICATIONS

MANDATORY

The perfect candidate will have a proven track record of project management successes yielding incredible customer loyalty.

Minimum of an undergraduate degree or recognized technical diploma in Computer Science or related field, and a minimum eight years demonstrable experience at senior level in the services, financial information management and/or systems environment. Provide a confirmed working history that demonstrates excellent analytical, organizational and problem-solving aptitude. Statistical analysis or Operations Research expertise is critical. Present outstanding leadership capabilities, illustrating proficiency in both verbal and written communications.  Exemplify a high degree of personal integrity and interpersonal skills and abilities.  Prove a willingness to commit the additional time and effort necessary during periods of heavy workload in order to meet project milestones, implementation deadlines and the like.

·         Application design, development and implementation of medium to large database projects.

·         Excellent written and oral communications skills.

·         Current data management methodologies, technologies and standards.

·         Project management utilizing the full systems development life cycle.

·         Supervision of project teams consisting of five personnel or more.

·         Possess a sound working knowledge of the following:

o    C#

o    Microsoft .NET.

o    Database design, development, and enhancement

o    DBMS or the MS SQL Server DBMS.

o    Spatial Data Management Technologies.

o    Strong skills in WEB application development.
