Description
Overview:
Position tasked with introducing paid membership to the constituents of the non-profit RIFC. This position will be designed to exist for one year, and in that time build the paid membership base as much as possible. (at the end of the first year, an assessment will determine if the position needs to be continued) That includes finding appropriate added value for member, to entice them to join and to renew. The position will establish systems to allow for ongoing member benefits, with an eye toward turning the maintenance of those systems over to the executive director once the program has been established.
Compensation:
Compensation for expenses; Travel allowance and seminar / training / event allowance; position on board upon retirement from duty; Commission for each paying member signed up during the first 13 months. This commission will be calculated and paid at the end of each month.
Detailed Requirements:
· Maintain database and communications with ongoing membership development.
· Communications: management of general correspondence, emails, calendar, blog and Facebook, working with communications team.
· Individual project management: oversee, budget and accountability for grant funds projects related to membership.
· Establish added benefits for members, including discounts, raffles, membership cards, etc.
