Description
Hi, we are researchers from Brown University's Computer Science Department, in a group headed by Andy Van Dam, doing research in human-computer interaction. One of our current projects is building a new software development tool for Java.
We are conducting a study into how software developers write code and use software development environments. Our goal is determine the pros and cons of current development tools and to see how (and if) our new system could address the pain points of current technology.
We would like to establish an ongoing relationship with a contact in your company to work with. We believe this could be a mutually beneficial relationship, giving you access to our research and the Brown community, and helping us test our new development tool with experienced programmers.
Lunch will be catered for participants. The interview will take approximately one hour, and can be scheduled at the convenience of participants.
If interested, please contact me at Brown.User.Study@gmail.com. We look forward to hearing back from you!
Best Regards,
David Eichler
