Local web-based companies team up to improve neighborhood-based rental data

Investment Instruments Corporation (IIC)...has upgraded its popular Rentometer product to include more accurate neighborhood information to better take into account human living patterns. IIC is now working with Rhode Island-based NeighborhoodScout to incorporate neighborhood information into the online tool in order to make it easier for people to compare like-properties.

We can use data points like zip codes or streets to compare rental properties but being able to show results within neighborhood boundaries adds even more value, said Investment Instruments CEO Allison Atsiknoudas."...

The information is available on the Rentometer immediately and will also be incorporated into the companys iiProperty product, which enables owners and renters to better work together.
