Brown Forum for Enterprise (BFE), a decades-old organization dedicated to connecting and educating entrepreneurs, is now part of the Rhode Island Center for Innovation & Entrepreneurship (RI-CIE), a state-wide hub to connect, educate and accelerate entrepreneurs in areas such as life sciences, technology, design, engineering and the environment.

RI-CIE, which is a partnership of the Rhode Island Economic Development Corporation and Brown University launched in April 2009, has evolved in just a year’s time, from a promising concept to an important asset in Rhode Island’s entrepreneurship community, attracting over 2,700 entrepreneurs, faculty, students and business professionals to over 80 events.
