This Monday (March 7th) afternoon, RISD President John Maeda released a rather troubling twitter post stating that, "When you know your standing and know your stand, it’s time to walk."

The message was originally viewed as a sign of Maeda's departure from RISD, but he later confirmed that he was implying the RISD community as a whole is what he wishes to move forward.
