Cox prepares for Internet transition

The current Internet address system, called IPv4, is running out of space, and Cox Communications wants to be prepared.

In anticipation of 2012, when Internet users will have to switch over to IPv6, a new address system, Cox Business and a number of its customers tested the IPv6 system during its first worldwide test on June 8, World IPv6 Day.
