The Southern New England Girls Collaborative Project (SNEGCP), a newly established affiliate of the National Girls Collaborative Project serving Rhode Island and Massachusetts, announced the recipients of its 2011-2012 mini-grants. Six mini-grants in the amount of $1,000 each were awarded to organizations collaborating to foster the engagement of girls in the STEM (Science, Technology, Education, Mathematics) fields.
