URI looks to the future this fall, bringing some of the biggest thinkers in technology and futurism to Rhode Island.

The University’s Honors Colloquium will address the astonishing technological advances expected over the next 20-30 years and their affect on humankind, according to organizers of the popular semester-long  lecture series. Some of the world's most prominent voices will discuss their expectations of what the future holds, the surprising technologies that will likely be available, and the potential consequences of those advancements.
