Cox Communications will open a new retail store at 1224 North Main St. Nov. 12 and close its existing location at 50 Houghton St.

The last business day for Houghton St. is Nov. 11; customers who have visited that store location to within the past three months will be notified of the new location with a postcard and telephone call.
