The Tech Collective hopes to interest 90 middle school girls in the fields of science, technology, engineering and mathematics with its inaugural STEM in the Middle workshop.

The seminar, consisting of 10 workshops, will take place at The STEM Center at Rhode Island College – Alger Hall, Room 110 – on Dec. 2 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Eight educators from Providence’s Sophia Academy and TIMES² Academy will be present as well as 15 industry professionals.
