KVH Industries Inc. said on Dec. 21 that it had received more than $2.5 million in new purchase orders for its precision DSP-3000 fiber optic gyros for stabilized remote weapon stations.

The order came from an “international military customer” and shipments will take place during the next two years, KVH said in a news release.
