...The new systems design includes redundant modular components to minimize downtime and repair time, and incorporates off-the-shelf and digital signal processing technologies to provide cost-effective filtering and signal conditioning, the company said. The production version will include a face plate, Americans with Disabilities Act-compliant fire and police button flaps, a speaker and microphone, and electronics compatible with both legacy and future ERS systems.
