McLaughlin Research wins $9.3M Navy support

Middletown company to provide support to weapon and launcher programs at the Naval Undersea Warfare Center

McLaughlin Research Corp. today announced it has been awarded a $9.3 million task order for technical services and support to submarine weapon and launcher programs at the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport.

The order was competitively awarded, under an existing multi-year contract. It calls for McLaughlin to directly support NUWC’s Launcher Systems and Integration Division.

The company will be working in cooperation with the Information Technology division of Falls Church, Va.-based General Dynamics Corp. (NSYSE: GD); South Korea-based camera and security company CNB Technology Inc. (formerly C&B Technology); and Middletown-based Systems Engineering Associates Corp. (SEA CORP).
