West Kingston-based APC, a global producer of power and cooling services, has announced that it received the “Best Data Center Innovation” award for its data-center solutions, at the BladeSystems Insight event in Savannah, Ga., last month. The event attracted more than 300 participants, including more than 100 senior-level information technology executives, who ranked APC the most innovative data-center vendor. The first national, invitational summit on blade server technology adoption, virtualization and the data-center marketplace, the BladeSystems Insight event focused on the bottom-line benefits of blade-based systems.
