Full Story: Towerstream joins Nasdaq Capital Market Source: Providence Business News, June 4th, 2007 Added on May 30th, 2007 at 11:50 am, by Judy HeMiddletown-based WiMAX provider Towerstream Corp.’s common stock began trading on the Nasdaq Capital Market (formerly the Nasdaq Small Cap Market) last Thursday under the symbol TWER.
“The Nasdaq Capital Market [formerly known as the Nasdaq SmallCap Market] furthers Towerstream's progression from a startup wireless company to a leading technology provider,” [President and CEO Jeff] Thompson said. The move will increase the company’s liquidity, he said, while also bringing “added visibility” and “greater exposure with institutional investors.”
